HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. -- Catherine R. (Fitzgerald) Meindl -- a Washington Township resident, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights -- died on Monday, April 18. She was 83.
Born in New York City, Meindl was an administrator for Bergen County Workforce Development, in Hackensack, before she retired.

BERGENFIELD, N.J. --Christopher L. Lituma, a lifelong resident of Bergenfield, died on Monday, April 18. He was only 3. "Christopher was an extremely happy boy, and while he was going through his treatments, he always remained positive and fearless," information from the funeral home noted. "He loved playing with his brothers, and his favorite toys, Lightening McQueen, Mario and Luigi from Disney's Cars, and Mickey Mouse."

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Rita A. (Loughlin) Falk, of Paramus, died on Monday, April 18. She was 97.
She is survived by her sons, Richard and Robert Falk, and her grandson, William Falk. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Otto Falk.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, at the William G. Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Rd., in Oradell. Funeral services will be offered at 9:30 a.m. on Friday from the funeral home thence to St. Joseph's Church, in Oradell, for a 10 a.m. mass. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.

John E. Davis, 72, Elmwood Park Resident
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- John E. Davis, of Elmwood Park, died on Monday, April 18. He was 72. Born in Jersey City, Davis lived in Wood-Ridge for 30 years and Garfield for 14, before settling in Elmwood Park 28 years ago. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University and was a former social worker. He owned a 1964 Rambler convertible, which was his pride and joy, and he belonged to the Rambler Club of America.
Davis was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church in Garfield, and he belonged to the choir for many years.
