The festival ran from Tuesday to Thursday.Amanda Kaminsky, of Hackensack, wrote, directed, edited, produced and acted in the short film "In Too Deep," for the Montclair University Film Studies Program. Maywood's Samantha Pernetti starred in that 26-minute horror short, shot entirely at the now-defunct Oritani Field Club, in Hackensack. Giovanni Ciurciu, 94, Longtime Fair Lawn Resident FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Giovanni Ciurciu, of Fair Lawn, died on Wednesday, April 20. He was 94. Born and raised in Sicily, Ciurciu immigrated to the U.S. in 1969. He lived in Paterson before moving to Fair Lawn 25 years ago. He was a former parishioner of St. Anthony Church in Paterson.
