John Granito, 98, Longtime Oradell Resident ORADELL, N.J. -- John Granito, a longtime resident of Oradell, died on Tuesday, April 5. He was 98. Granito was a proud Army veteran of World War II and of the VFW and Senior Center in Oradell, where he will be missed by his many friends there. He is survived by his two children, Jim Granito and his wife Sharon, and Ellen Berk and her husband Vincent; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen.
