'Harp To Heart' Concert Comes To Ridgewood Library RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Katy Wong will play a "Harp to Heart" concert at the Ridgewood Public Library this Sunday, April 24. Wong has played at Carnegie Hall, participated in the World Harp Congress and presently studies at Julliard. Featured guest musicians include Giorgio Consolati on flute; Hayaka Komatsu on viola; Jack Kay, vocals; and Kari Wong on oboe. For a taste of Wong's performances, click here. The academy is for Bloomingdale boys and girls who are considering being a police officer, who will be entering sixth or seventh grade in September. Fairview Approves School Budget, North Bergen And Palisades Park Say No CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. — While Fairview voters approved their school budget proposal, those in North Bergen and Palisades Park rejected theirs, according to The Record. The North Bergen budget will now be reviewed by the Board of Commissioners, which can either approve it or make cuts, and the school board could then appeal that ruling at a state level, The Record reported.
