Wyckoff YMCA Offers Tribe Lacrosse 'Girls Night Out'
WYCKOFF, N.J. -- The Wyckoff Family YMCA and Tribe Lacrosse are offering a "Girls Night Out" -- well, nights, on July 26-28, for players currently in third through sixth grade.The three-night lacrosse clinic will be from 6-9 p.m. each night, on the Pulis Turf Fields, in Wyckoff. The program will feature experienced coaching staff, in Elizabeth Drehwing, Ana Drehwing, Melissa Mackey and Nicole Maskery. They are all accomplished area lacrosse or multi-sport athletes.

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- The Borough of Elmwood Park is seeking a full-time laborer for the Department of Public Works.
The work includes leaf and brush collection, road work, grounds maintenance, buildings maintenance, public work projects, snow plowing, sewer and water operations and repairs, operation of heavy equipment, and general maintenance in the borough.

Mahwah Museum Organizes Guitar Celebration, Auctions Notable Guitars
MAHWAH, N.J. -- The Mahwah Museum will be hosting a Jazz and Blues Guitar Celebration at the Trustees Pavilion, at Ramapo College of New Jersey, on Saturday, June 4.
The event will be the culmination of the Museum's yearlong celebration of Les Paul's 100th birthday. The event will include performances by Bucky Pizzarelli, Lou Pallo, Ed Laub, Dave Stryker and Vic Juris.

Ridgewood Infant First Female Child Born Into Her Family Since 1860
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Eve was the Bible's first woman -- and one Ridgewood family's first girl in 156 years, according to People magazine. The last girl born into the family, prior to Eve, was born in Poland in 1860.Her parents, Christine and Chris Ziobro, also have two sons, who People report have been excited about their sister. "They love it, there's no jealousy there and it's just a different kind of feeling," Christine said.
And family members are finally able to buy frillier things. "She has like a thousand bows and headbands," Christine said, as People reported.

Joseph D. Kearney, 47, Midland Park Resident
MIDLAND PARK, N.J. -- Joseph D. Kearney -- a Midland Park resident, formerly of Westwood -- died Wednesday, May 4. He was 47.
Born in the Bronx, Kearney was a financial wholesaler for Highland Capital. He was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, in Midland Park.
