Paramus Commends Teen Fiction Writer For Published Book
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Trisha Vohra, a 14-year-old Paramus student, has published her own book, and was recently recognized by the borough and the Board of Education for the achievement, Town News reported.Trisha began writing "On the Other Side" last January, and she finished it in June, according to Town News. Her aunt and uncle encouraged her to publish it, and her mom edited it before they reached out to publishers.

HARRINGTON PARK, N.J. -- The Junior Woman's Club of Harrington Park is presenting a Memorial Day concert, featuring the Ray Greiche Band, on Monday, May 30.The Ray Greiche Band is "roots rock with a hint of alternative country."

Fair Lawn Group Works To Stomp Out Mental Health Stigma
FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The Bergen Regional Medical Center hosted a "What is Mental Health? Arts & Jams Festival" on Wednesday, May 4, in partnership with the Fair Lawn Stigma-Free Zone Initiative.The event -- featuring student art displays, games and prizes, food, and entertainment -- was in celebration of Mental Health Month.
