Hopper-Goetschius House Participating In History Day UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- The Hopper-Goetschius House is one of the 10 museums and other historic sites participating in the Northwest Bergen History Coalition’s annual History Day, on Saturday, May 14. Ridgewood Health Department Offers Free Rabies Clinic RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood Health Department is offering residents an annual free dog rabies clinic on Wednesday, May 11 -- and rabies vaccinations are required to get the required dog license. Dogs must be accompanied by an adult and leashed or in a carrier. New Jersey law requires owners of all dogs seven months old and older to be registered with the town they live in. To get a license, the owner must present proof that a licensed vet has vaccinated the dog against rabies, and that vaccination is good until May 1, 2017.
