New York Man Arrested In Stamford Pleads Guilty To Federal Gun Charge
STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 43-year-old Port Chester, N.Y., resident arrested in Stamford pleaded guilty Thursday before a U.S. District judge in Hartford to one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, authorities said.
According to court documents and statements made in court, Stamford police executed a court-authorized search of a local hotel room where the defendant, identified as Juan Ouinones, was staying on Sept. 24, 2015.

Stony Point Woman Charged With Cocaine Possession
STONY, POINT, N.Y. -- Stony Point police arrested a 46-year-old woman on a drug charge after she was found in possession of cocaine, authorities said.
The suspect, identified as Victoria Strehlau, a Stony Point resident, was taken into custody following a vehicle and traffic stop on Aug. 18, according to officials.
An investigation at the scene revealed Strehlau was in possession of a quantity of cocaine, police report.
She has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, according to officials.
