Belskie Museum Displays Demarest Student Art
DEMAREST, N.J. -- James Santana, principal of Demarest's Northern Valley Regional High School, has announced that students will exhibit their artwork from May 19-29 at the Belskie Museum of Art and Science.
The opening night reception of the annual art show at the Belskie Museum will be on May 19, from 7-9 p.m., will also include light refreshments.
Each year, students from all grade levels showcase artwork that they have worked on throughout the school year. The show includes drawings, paintings, sculpture, digital, etchings, silkscreen prints and photographs.

Marie Margaret (McSweeney) McKenna, 86, Former Fair Lawn Resident
FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Marie Margaret (McSweeney) McKenna -- a Newark, Delaware, resident, formerly of Fair Lawn -- died on Monday, April 25. She was 86.
Born in Burlington, Vermont, McKenna graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, in Riverdale, New York, with a bachelor's of arts degree. She earned a master's degree in social work from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.. She enjoyed a full career in the Hackensack School District as a social worker until she retired, in 1990.

RIVER VALE, N.J. -- Marie Antonia (Fiore) Bivone -- a River Vale resident, formerly of Brooklyn -- died on Tuesday, April 26. She was 90.
"The loves of her life were her family, her dogs, bingo and the New York Yankees," according to information from the funeral home.

Lucy (Marcellino) Macagna, 92, Former Englewood Cliffs Resident
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. -- Lucy (Marcellino) Macagna -- a Deerfield Beach, Florida, resident, formerly of Englewood Cliffs -- died on Thursday, April 28. She was 92.
Macagna was born in Brooklyn.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., in Cliffside Park. The funeral will be from the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m., thence to Our Lady of Grace Church in Fairview, for an 11 a.m. funeral mass. Entombment will follow at Madonna Mausoleum, in Fort Lee.
