DEMAREST, N.J. -- The Polly Wyckoff-David Demarest Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is inviting the public to join its 90th anniversary, on Saturday, May 14.
The organization has dedicated 90 years to community service, patriotism, education and historical preservation.

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Applications for the 2016 Chief Michael Feeney Junior Police Academy are now available, and the deadline is Wednesday, June 1.This is the third year for the academy. It will run from Thursday, June 23, to Friday, July 1. The program is open to Ridgewood kids who will be entering the sixth through eighth grades in the fall of 2016.

Try Out Bob-Ross-Style Painting In West Milford
WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- Robert Benedetto will be teaching an oil painting class on the famous Bob Ross Wet-On-Wet Technique, on Monday, June 13, at the Hillcrest Community Center. In this three-hour class, Benedetto, a Certified Ross Instructor, will teach painting theory, color mixing, and use of brushes and painting knives. Students will finish their own oil paintings. No prior experience is necessary and individual attention will be given to all students.
