Emerson Honors Local Wrestling Champs EMERSON, N.J. -- The Emerson Borough Council honored the Emerson/Park Ridge wrestling team on Tuesday, May 17, for winning its first state championship. The team won the Group 2 trophy after defeating Delaware Valley at the 2016 NJSIAA group wrestling championships. This is Emerson/Park Ridge's first state championship, and the first for coach Stan Woods, who has been with the team for 47 years.

She will be 60 on Friday, May 20. She has served in the state Senate since 2012. Previously, she represented the 35th District in the General Assembly. Pou was appointed to fill Bill Pascrell's seat in 1997, after he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Incentive Offered For Sponsoring New Park Ridge Pool Memberships PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- The Borough of Park Ridge has announced an incentive for residents who sponsor new families who get pool memberships.The deal is for paid 2016 members who sponsor a new family, which has not been a member of the pool for at least three years. Such sponsors will receive a $50 voucher for the snack bar voucher or a $25 voucher for a new single member. The deal doesn't apply to seniors obtaining a free membership.
