HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Officials at Hackensack University Medical Center confirmed Wednesday that a baby was born at the hospital on Tuesday with microcephaly as a result of the mother contracting the Zika virus internationally. "The mother, who is visiting the United States, and her baby are receiving exceptional care during this difficult time," the hospital said in a news release. CLOSTER, N.J. -- A "Salute to Women in the Arts" exhibit at the Belskie Museum of Art & Science will open on Sunday, June 5, with an afternoon reception. PARAMUS, N.J. -- Paramus Recreation is still accepting registrations for first-grade cheerleaders, and it's waived the late fee if folks register by Friday, June 17.
