Photos: Englewood Students Performed 'Legally Blond'
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- The Bergen Performing Arts Center, located at 30 North Van Brunt St., in Englewood, partnered with Dwight Morrow High School to produce "Legally Blonde, the Musical" on March 31 and April 1, on bergenPAC's main stage.
Auditions were way back in early January, and the students performed almost daily, a news release noted. Based on the movie "Legally Blonde," the musical follows Elle Woods' transformation, as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal as she pursues her dreams.

Lodi's Immaculate Conception Sells Out 'Beauty And The Beast' Performance
LODI, N.J. -- Immaculate Conception High School, in Lodi, had such a strong reception for a matinee, that it's now added another show.
The cast and crew are performing a sold-out matinee show on Thursday, April 14. Two shows are left, this weekend, on Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. You can get a sneak peek here.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- A porcupine helped kids learn about diversity and problem-solving at an author reading at the East Rutherford Memorial Library, on Wednesday, April 9.
"I was very honored to attend a special reading of the new book 'Noko the Knight,' by author Eleni Theodorou," said East Rutherford Councilman Joel Brizzi.
