A 25-year-old woman was killed inside her apartment in the region and police have arrested her ex-boyfriend on murder charges. Saratoga Springs Police said someone called 911 at around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, reporting a deceased woman at the Vanderbilt Terrace apartments, located on Vanderbilt Avenue. Albany County resident Scott Weinbloom, age 49, of Latham, pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography in Albany federal court on Thursday, Feb. 1. According to prosecutors, a search of Weinbloom’s Latham residence in May 2022 turned up 1,300 photos and 1,500 videos of child pornography that had been stored on a USB flash drive.
