Juan De Leon Collado, age 30, of Freeport, was sentenced to between seven and 21 years in prison in Nassau County Court on Monday, Jan. 29 after pleading guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and related charges. Shoplifter Punches Employee At Long Island Target, Police Say Police are asking for help in identifying an alleged shoplifter accused of assaulting an employee at a Long Island Target store. The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, in Huntington Station at the Target on East Jericho Parkway. Suffolk County Police said the suspect stole merchandise and then punched a male worker in the face when he was confronted. The victim suffered minor injuries. Officers in Saratoga Springs responded to the Stewart’s Shops near Broadway and Circular Street after an alarm was triggered at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28.
