New City's Jawonio Receives $350,000 Grant For Coordinated Care Services NEW CITY, N.Y. -- State Sen. David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) announced a $350,000 grant to fund the expansion of coordinated care services at the Health Center at Jawonio, 260 North Little Tor Road, New City, on Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. The funding will help Jawonio assist those whose health needs require both medical and behavioral health services. Jawonio is planning to embed both a full time care coordinator and outreach worker into the health center.

West Nyack Venue Hosts Tracy Morgan's First Concert Since Car Wreck WEST NYACK, N.Y. -- On Thursday, Tracy Morgan performed his first show since being severely injured in a collision with a Wal-Mart tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike last year, lohud.com reports. Bridgeport Wins Award For Healthy Projects To Refurbish Parks, Beaches BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport was among eight recipients of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Prize, an award recognizing community efforts to optimize health and wellness in municipal programs, according to CTPost.com.
