Ramapo Police Cite 23 Commercial Vehicles, Remove 2 At Checkpoint RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Ramapo Police Department Traffic Safety Unit partnered with the New York State Department of Transportation Motor Carrier Safety Unit to conduct a commercial vehicle checkpoint on Route 59 in the Village of Airmont on Thursday, authorities said.
