Police Arrest Two Teens On Larceny, Drug Possession Charges In Pearl River
ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Orangetown police arrested a 17-year-old female from Pearl River and a 16-year-old female from Tappan on larceny and drug-related charges Saturday evening, authorities said.
The suspects, whose names have not been released, allegedly stole a bottle of whiskey from a store in Pearl River, police report.
In addition, each of the teens was found to be in possession of Dilaudid, a narcotic pain medication, according to officials.

Haverstraw Woman Faces Mischief Charge In Windshield-Smashing Incident
STONY POINT, N.Y. -- Stony Point police arrested a 41-year-old resident of Haverstraw on a criminal mischief charge Sunday, authorities said.
The suspect, identified as Karin E. Neyra, allegedly damaged a windshield by smashing it out with a large rock after a brief verbal and physical dispute, according to officials.
Following an investigation, Neyra was taken into custody; she has been charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony, police report.
After processing, the defendant was released on her own recognizance, according to officials.
