Car Slams Into Deli In Hudson Valley: Driver Hospitalized A driver was rushed to a nearby hospital after crashing into a Putnam County deli.  The crash happened on Wednesday, May 14, when a vehicle slammed into the Putnam Valley Market at 4 Sunset Hill Rd. in Putnam Valley, the town's fire department said on Friday, May 16.  According to firefighters, the driver lost control before the crash.  The driver was later taken to a hospital for evaluation.
